Swedish Network for Master Courses in Speech and Language Pathology

Internet Portal

Welcome

The six speech and language pathology departments at the Universities of Göteborg, Linköping, Lund, Umeå, Uppsala, and the Karolinska Institute, Stockholm have created a network initially supported by the Swedish Agency for Networks and Cooperation in Higher Education. The purpose is to develop collaboration and mobility between the speech and language pathology (SLP) programmes and collaboration in specialized education and research in communication disorders.

Even though each SLP programme has its own specific profile, with explicit learning outcomes for a Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Pathology and associated syllabi, the aim of the collaboration is to facilitate possibilities for students to take courses within the programmes at the other universities.

The availability of a choice of courses at advanced and research level for the professional and academic degrees in SLP will give extended possibilities for mobility, exchange, and co-ordination of teaching and education. The goal is to plan and co-ordinate courses within the country as well as Nordic and international courses.
